Just to make it clear:

This is a place to sell your old GMAT books.

This is NOT a place to:
  • Sell other products besides your old GMAT books.
  • Sell illegal GMAT materials (soft copies, etc.)
Let's see if this forum takes off!

One more thing: if/when you do sell your used books, please write a follow-up post to your original message to indicate that your books are sold.

Just want to make sure we close the feedback loop regarding sales. Thanks!

Think about donating your books

by beatthegmat » Tue Feb 13, 2007 5:49 pm
One additional follow up: after you've finished your GMAT, please consider donating your books to a library or to other members. There are a lot of smart people out there who simply don't have the resources to adequately prepare for the GMAT.

In the spirit of community service and human kindness, think about donating your books to the less fortunate. :)

Libraries would love to have these books! Then lots of people can use them.

If you have clean copies (no writing, minor wear-and-tear) please consider donating to your local library. :)
Please note: I do not use the Private Messaging system! I will not see any PMs that you send to me!!

If donating it for wider use is the purpose then why not have ebooks made and uploaded it would be more easily available... at least for registred users

Unfortunately, we can't do this because it breaks copyright laws.

Just to re-iterate that this sub-forum is NOT for agents who sell brand new books.

Anyone willing to donate any material/books to me. I can pay for shiping but beyond that money is limited, I have been laid off since July.

Thanks

I'd love to give to the community, but I'll make a deal: Force colleges to reduce their application prices by slashing them to half and I'll give away my books.

Point: I'd rather shuffle my money between academic-related books than look for future expenditures that go beyond practical limit :)

Sincerely,

Piyush A.

Hi! I'm also preparing for my GMAT and I already have the OG 12. I live in the Philippines and I purchased my OG 12 when I was in the US. I'm planning to self-study for the GMAT by following the Beat the GMAT 60-day study plan but unfortunately, I could not find the Kaplan 2010-2011 Premier in any bookstore in the Philippines. I have found a Kaplan 2010-2011 reviewer but there's no Premier on it, so I thought it is different. I really need work on my math skills. Any recommedations as to any alternative reviewers or study plan that will fit in your recommended books? Thanks a lot!
