Okay, I plan to take GMAT in a year(No hurries on my part).
I have always been good in maths(always A) and had an engineering major.
Now I have not done these sort of questions for last 5/6 years.
I know most of the basics but not tricks I guess.
When I see a problem casually, it seems hard and but when I see a solution, it seems so easy and I grab it in just few seconds with all the tricks.
Can some one tell me how to approach maths section preparation with such mentality.
Should I go via first review books and then push me to solve the problems or what
How to approach Maths PS

Hi,
My advice is to take a look at prep programs and study materials from various companies and see which one looks right for you. I was a math major in college, as well as an SAT tutor, but I still found the tricks very helpful in preparing for the GMAT! A big part of success on the test is familiarity with the types of problems. Having a strategy for each type of problem makes them go much more quickly.
Best wishes,
Tatiana
