- 33 students mean 13 years old , if 3 students leave 17, 18 , the youngest 5 years old out group. What the mean of remaining students?

Average = Sum of terms / # of terms
13 = Sum / 33
429 = Sum
Now 17, 18, and 5 are leaving.
New Sum = 429 - (17 - 18 - 5)
New Sum = 389
New Total of Students = 33 - 3 = 30
New Average = New Sum / New Total of Students
New Average = 389 / 30 = 12.966
