Guidance required for Verbal

by gmatpart2 » Thu Jul 05, 2012 11:39 am
Hi All,

I took GMAT a month ago and was able to get an average score of 580. Though I performed decently in Quants, I messed up big time in Verbal. Could anyone please guide me as to which Verbal books should I refer. I major weakness has been SC in which my performance is very inconsistent. Sometimes the accuracy is 80% and above and sometimes it dips to 20%. Please if anyone has some suggestion for me.

Thanks.

Have you been using the Official Guide? If you have problems specifically related to the Verbal Section it would be worth trying to learn from the part of the OG series which is devoted only to the Verbal.

Manhattan's SC guide is often said to be one of the best.
