In a medical emergency, a paramedic is obliged to provide assistance to those disaster victims who are in need of treatment. Many people think this means that the paramedics should start by treating those who are injured most seriously. However, this approach could actually result in a greater loss of life. Given this viewpoint, a well- trained paramedic might

The best conclusion for the passage above is

a. ignore people with head injuries
b. treat women and children first
c. avoid spending precious time on someone who cannot be saved
d. treat those who complain the most
e. misdiagnose serious injury

How to approach these type of questions, although this question is not that difficult but I just want to know how to reach the conclusion based on the stimulus in general(very high level understanding).

It is my understanding that it is similar to "the main point" question where we need to find answer from the argument. Any information not in the argument, just like inference, should not be considered. Also, pay heed to author's point of view. Verbal experts !! Please comment.

IMO E ( as others are not mentioned specifically in the passage)

i would choose E for this
confused among C,D,E but C is ignored by me by the sentence " starting to treating those who get the worst jury"
D is a bit crazy.. any crazy patient who get a bit hurt and have to go to hospital complain as if they're gonna die immediately if we dont care em right now...
thus i chose E
