Eric,
I took GMAT 2 years ago and had an average score of 650.I wanted to retake it and improve it.ESADE was one of my favourites to apply,so I applied very early around September(2007) and requested for an interview.I was interviewed and the interviewer seemed very impressed with my essays. She found clarity in my goals and other essays. Also, I was aware that ESADE pays great value on ethics. In my essays I honestly described my past failures instead of providing excuses to cover it up.I think this also helped me substantially.
Although a GMAT score of 650 for an Indian IT engineer is not considered great but I tried to compensate with my essays.
Thanks,
Saurabh

Excellent work - congrats! ESADE is a great international school. I've been looking at international schools myself. Congrats again!
