Hi Ankita Baderiya,

That news about the power outage at the Test Center is unfortunate, but the fact that you could not answer the final 5 Verbal questions is NOT why you scored so low on the Verbal section.

I'm curious about your studies so far:

1) What were your Scaled Scores for the Quant and Verbal on this Test?
2) How were you scoring on your practice CAT tests?
3) What materials were you using to study with?
4) How long did you study?

Using this Official Score as your "baseline score", your desire to score 750 in one month is not realistic. Improving 260 points will probably take 3 months (or more) of consistent, guided study (and is dependent on your ability to master all of the material). The good news is that Business Schools don't care if you take the GMAT more than once, so retesting is not a big deal. The bad news is that you should NOT be retesting soon - you need considerably more study time to hit your goal.
