GMAT Preparation - best study material

by nidhi0904 » Sat Sep 05, 2015 2:08 pm
Hi,

I am planning to take GMAT around 1st week of November. I have finished quant problems from the Official Guide and the review handbook, 2015. Could you please suggest which books/online material should I be referring to for practice now. My basics are clear but want a lot of practice since I'm aiming a 700+.

Also, for verbal, I'm still on the OG but have completed the sentence correction guide from Manhattan.

There is a lot of material to study from but I can't pick out the best. Please help.

Thanks,
Nidhi Bahuguna

Hi Nidhi,

With a November 1st Test Date, your GMAT is less than 2 months away; thankfully, that's plenty of time to continue studying.

Have you taken any FULL-LENGTH practice CATs yet? If you have, then how did you score (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)? If you have not taken one yet, then it would be a good idea to take one soon. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can talk through your study plans.

As others will tell you, most test prep companies offer some free resources to see if they work with your learning style. So, I suggest you spend some time checking out what each has to offer.
