I am planning to apply to Fisher , fall '11. I scored a 640 on the GMAT.

I have represented my school, college and the company at the nationals in football (read soccer).
Have achieved a significant number of awards during my stint as an IT professional Also lead a tema of 4 while still in the first year of my employment.
Have helped the under priviledged kids around the neighbourhood with studies. ( though i have no certificates to prove it because i do it independently)
Have been part of the school and college cutural groups and have participated in a number of inter school debates.

How do you rate my chances?

Great to have you on the forum, Prashant!

I would be interested to hear more about Fisher. Here are a few general questions since I don't know much about the school:

1) What is the atmosphere like?
2) What made you choose Fisher?
3) I am sure the the internship process has started already. Can you comment on how that is going at Fisher?
4) How if the social life in Columbus?

Hi Dave,

Thank you for your interest in Fisher!

I would love to give you as much information about the school as possible. The answers:

1. The atmosphere here is incredible. Students and Faculty are very friendly and proactive. You would feel that you belong here from Day1. Fisher is a very strong community and we are all very proud of being a part of it.
2. Fisher has some of the best courses and professors in the country for Strategy, Operations, Finance and Marketing. And like I mentioned its a strong community recognized around the globe. Also, there is very heavy emphasis on individual development.
3. Well yes! The internship process has begun. And I am glad to covey that it is going great! We have tonnes of company representatives from the US and outside we get to meet on a daily basis.
4. I have just been in Columbus for about a month, but am already in love with it. For someone like me who is very outgoing, its a little difficult to like some place so easily. In fact, I know so many people around me coz of the great social life here.

I hope I answered your questions to your satisfaction. For more information about the college, you may want to visit the website at https://fisher.osu.edu and also be on the lookout for many upcoming events at the college.

Warm Regards,
Prashant
