why D is wrong?

because 2 tense, present perfect and present are used while only one tense is used in A. there is no reason to use 2 tenses in a sentence. is that right?

D is not wrong because "present perfect and present are used"
Read D as

both has predated and has resembled

D is x because we need simple present here bec. non underline portion has "is therefore" , which require present .
