Hi everyone,

Just took my GMAT yesterday and didn't do spectacular. 680 q42 v40. Only really looking to get into LSE MSc A&F. Should I apply with this score, and what are my chances? My profile is as below:

Education:

- 3.7 GPA at a top Canadian business school specializing in Finance. Was on the executive board of a large school club.

Work Exp:
- Investment Banking Summer Analyst internship
- Co-founder of investment research company/project;
- Wealth Management internship
- Project director at an overseas NGO.

Extra:
- Panicked and didn't manage time well in quant section. I usually score 47+
- Any advice from anyone who has been through the LSE MSc A&F program is highly appreciated! I have wanted to study at LSE since I attended their international banking conference a year back. Hopefully I could leverage this in my SOP?

Thanks in advance!

I think the GMAT score you have is not so far off their mark and the quality of some of your internships sets you apart in my opinion. I would lead with your passion for attending the school and why as you have described here and that may serve you well.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the response Donna.

I am really concerned about the quantitative score on the GMAT. Is that grounds for a rejection? Do you think my profile as a whole could balance the q42 score?
