Correct Preposition

Which is the correct sentence:

1) I took this photo by my phone
2) I took this photo on my phone
3) I took this photo with my phone.

pls suggest

Of the three, the best choice is the third one: "I took this photo with my phone." The preposition "with" correctly suggests that you used your phone to take a photo.

The preposition "on" is incorrect in this sentence. It would be acceptable to say, "I stored this photo on my phone," because the correct idiom is to store information "on" a device, rather than "in" a device.

The preposition "by" is also incorrect. We might say, "The photo was taken by John," or more simply: "John took the photo." <-- no preposition to worry about!
