it means 80% of accepted students will join the college.
since 80 % of accepted students=x
so accepted students=1.25x

Yield = 100%-20% = 80%
1/yield = amount of students to be accepted
1/0,8 = 1,25

Plug in x=80. This represents the desired enrollment.
For an enrollment of 80 students, 100 must be accepted (since 20% will not attend college).
Now we plug x=80 (the desired enrollment) into all the answer choices to see which yields 100 (the number of students that must be accepted).

Only answer choice D works:
1.25*80 = 100.

The correct answer is D.
