am for B
we need a "that" after indicates so D, E are out
A) 419 times more is not parallel to 42 times. incorrect
B) 419 times parallel to 49 times. use of "a ratio" makes clear what the ratio is
C) "their pay" after 49 times makes it wordy and removes the parallelism

OA: C
I think it's between B and C. B sounds a little awkard...also, B has "compares to", it should be "compared to".
but C's "their" is not very clear at all.
Can someone explain why C is better than B?
