Hi Vaibhav,

Unfortunately with your score this seems difficult. We would advise retaking gmat or else applying to r 2 universities with low rankings.

Don't give up! I scored a 590 on my first try and applied to some schools anyway just to see where I stand. I was officially accepted by one MBA program (ranked 60-70 in the US) and verbally accepted by another (ranked 30-40) after I spoke with one of their recruting officer, with the possibility of scoring a scholarship/partial tuition waiver :) So not all hope is lost!

Good luck buddy!

Hmm.. I am hoping atleast Msc programs will not look at that GMAT score of mine with too much scrutiny. Specially me verbal (which is 26) :?

Definitely amazing read!

I will be very honest and say that i know i could have scored way better but i have exams and with deadlines i have no other option but to apply ( just to give it a shot)

And i have a job already as back up ( :D ) so if i dont get in, i will work three years and go for MBA then! :)

This is just my personal opinion, so please correct me if I'm wrong:

I think that it is more useful, at least for the recruiters, that you have 3 years of solid work experience and pursue an MBA by then, than getting a Master education right now with little to no work experience. The former communicates that you are aware of the benefits and necessity of an MBA, while the latter indicates that you are hoping to get a job base soly on your educational credentials/certifications.
