This is Das. I have a graduate degree in computer science and engineering (GPA 8.3/10) and work experience of 2.5 years in wipro technologies. I took GMAT on August,10th got a score of 670(49Q,32V) and TOEFL(103(R29,L27,S22,W25). intended to pursue a career in Finance (Investment bankin) .
My experience in wipro was purely technical ( Embedded Linux Division). worked with clients from Japan and USA.
involved in extra curricular activities like- -
- Participated in swimming and basket ball competitions
- Was a class Monitor and disciplinary committee head of the student's body in school.
- Organized couple of events in my engineering and company
Could you please help me out with the school selection . I am in plans of applying to 7 schools.. Please suggest me with a range of colleges in which i can apply (from rank 10 to 20) or (rank 20 to 30) or rank (30+)

Hi das4mba,
Depending on your goals, how you articulate your leadership and management potential and whether you have strong leadership in your extracurriculars, I would think the top 10 will be a bit tough for you.
It's worth doing some research on your own to figure out what criteria is important to you (strength in certain areas, location, price, etc.) but generally I would pick a mix of schools and ranks - some where your GMAT score is above average, some that are a stretch, and some where you are average - to get the optimal range of options.
