Coordinate geometry parabola

If the graph represented by F (X) =Px^2 +Qx +R passes through (-3,0) and (5,0) IS F (7) <0?
1) The y intercept of the graph is -5
2) F (8) > F (9)

Honestly, don't worry about this. It is not something covered on the GMAT. You will never have to calculate the formula of a parabola from points.

But coordinate geometry & functions are in scope of GMAT. so why not parabolas ?
