I will go with E here as the action is going to happen in the future and will continue for a period of time.

Got to be E.

This sentence needs a future continuous tense and not a simple future tense that A provides.

IMO A

as A is concise and conveys a future tense.

X will happen for as long as Y is there

X will be happening for as long as Y is here < - incorrect

All, please paste your reason for selecting the answer.

I am not very convinced with OA hence not pasting the same.

I received a PM asking me to comment. This is not a good question. Don't study it. (Seriously.)

If you ever see a question that does not include at least one difference right at the beginning of the answer choices and another difference right at the end, do not study that question. This is a basic rule the GMAT follows so if whoever wrote the question didn't follow that very-easy-to-follow, basic rule, who knows what other more important stuff the person ignored in constructing the question? Credibility is gone.
Please note: I do not use the Private Messaging system! I will not see any PMs that you send to me!!

The Goodyear Blimp will provide aerial footage of the car race, which occurs just fifteen miles from its airbase in Ohio, for as long as the race is sponsored by the tire company.

1. The Goodyear Blimp will provide aerial footage of the car race
2. The Goodyear Blimp has provided aerial footage of the car race
3. The Goodyear Blimp will have been providing aerial footage of the car race
4. The Goodyear Blimp will have provided aerial footage of the car race
5. The Goodyear Blimp will be providing aerial footage of the car race
___

IN MY OPINION ANS SHOULD BE C:

ACC. TO OG , WILL HAVE BEEN DESCRIBES A FUTURE , ONGOING ACTION THAT WILL OCCUR BEFORE A SPECIFIED TIME.

In above question The Goodyear Blimp will provide aerial footage of the car race for as long as the race is sponsored by the tire company.

so, AS LONG AS clearly shows the ongoing action in future that will occur before a specified time( until the race is sponcered by the tire company).

THEREFORE, WE NEED TO USE FUTURE PERFECT CONTINIOUS IN THIS QUESTION. HENCE C is the answer.
