The complexity, scope, and scale of the world’s environmental and social problems seem overwhelming and challenging. However, several initiatives started by social entrepreneurs around the world seem to be defying these obstacles to find innovative and unique solutions. Such social enterprises have been attracting the attention of large corporations, academia, charities and organizations with a need for understanding this phenomenon and replicating the processes for value creation. For example, while several parts of India seem to be grappling with hotter and polluted cities, a company called Grow-Trees is quietly doing something about it. This is an initiative started by Pradip Shah (HBS Graduate, 1981) and his son Karan Shah (Graduated from Harvard Business School in 2015)..MBA in Social Entrepreneurship Opportunities

How an IAS officer made it to MIT with 12 years of experience
MIT Sloan is perhaps a dream school for more MBA applicants than any other top business school around the world. True, Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton all have their followers, but there is something very unique and distinct about MIT that makes it irresistible to MBA applicants.
However, no sooner is the name of the MIT Sloan School of Management mentioned, that one realizes that it is also one of the toughest MBA programs to get into. Think GMAT scores well in excess of 750, strong international experience, and a history of work for a top-tier brand name, apart from, of course, a stellar application. The MIT Sloan Fellows program is even tougher to make it into, with average experience of over 15 years, and successful applicants who are often COOs, CEOs, and CFOs of major multinational corporations around the world. And yet, Mukesh Bansal, with 12 years of experience in Civil Services.. MBA for IAS Officers

ISB essays 2018 (2019 intake)

by GyanOne » Mon Jul 12, 2021 9:28 pm

Old is gold, says ISB. And why not? After all, something that has been tried and tested is often going to be more reliable than something new and uncertain. That is the core philosophy on which ISB has launched its 2018-19 application. The familiar old interface (after an unwelcome change last year), essay topics similar to those seen earlier, and the (re)introduction of an optional essay are the key hallmarks that denote these changes. The ISB application for 2018 (2019 intake or Class of 2020) is now open, and ISB has announced a new set of essays to replace the ones from 2017. The ISB essays 2018, though, aren’t really a completely fresh set of essays, but somewhat modified versions of essays that have been used in its essay set by ISB in the past. The core elements that ISB looks for, though, remain the same across its essays over the years – differentiation, achievement, and fit with the school and the PGP program..ISB MBA Admission consultant

The modern MBA classroom is not about monologues or long lectures. Professors, administrators, and students alike understand that today, the full potential of the MBA teaching environment is reached when that environment is interactive. Indeed, simulations, discussions, and guest lectures are an important part of the MBA classroom today. However, this article is about the MBA Case Method – a teaching pedagogy that has for some time dominated the classrooms of some of the world’s most renowned business schools. The Case Method is not just another teaching tool; for many schools (such as Harvard Business School itself) it is the dominant method of teaching. Neither is the popularity of the method restricted to the US alone – it is used as much by schools across geographies, including IMD (Europe), Ivey (Canada), and ISB (India), to name just a few..career counselling

The SP Jain PGPM is one of the most prestigious MBA programs in India. Offered by the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) in its Mumbai campus, the program has acquired a strong reputation over the last few years, very much in vogue with that of other prestigious one-year MBA programs for experienced professionals in India, such as the ISB PGP, IIMA PGPX, IIMB EPGP, and IIMC PGPEX. The program has one of the highest returns on investment for any similar MBA program in India, with program fee of INR 1.65 million (16.5 lakhs), and an average outgoing salary of INR 1.75 million (17.5 lakhs, including bonuses). This is much higher than the ROI offered by even the IIMs and ISB, and this is why the SP Jain application is seeing rising numbers every year..SP Jain PGPM Application
