any idea on how score works?

by elimenda » Mon Dec 01, 2008 8:04 am
Hello,

I have done the GMAT exam a couple of times. The first time, was late July. I had 45% of Quantitative, and above 50% of verbal.

Last Thursday 27th of November, I took the GMAT exam for the second time. I had 77% in Quantitative, and in verbal only 29%.
In the tests I had previously done, I was above 70% of verbal: in one I was about 85%, 38, and in the second around 75%, 35.
that is why I don t quite understand how I got 23 of verbal (29%), on the gmat exam.

Is there any possiblity that the gmat software had an error?
does anyone know how does the punctuation work?

tks in advance

I have not heard of any errors in the software. You should understand that the test is a standardised test at the end of the day. Much would depend on how current your preparation is (unless you are an expert who needs no prep). There are too many other factors such as your health, stamina, interest level etc that can affect your score. Only you could introspect :D
Wish you good luck
