In the telephone number 936-215X, what digit does X represent?

(2) The perimeter of floor X is 16 meters.
(1) Only one digit in the telephone number is greater than X.
(2) X is the greatest of the digits not among the telephone number’s first six digits.

I think you have the question wrong....

(2) The perimeter of floor X is 16 meters.
(1) Only one digit in the telephone number is greater than X.
(2) X is the greatest of the digits not among the telephone number’s first six digits.

There can be only one statement for (2)... which one to consider?

I would assume that Perimeter of the floor is not required.

My answer is B

The digits not among the 1st six are 0, 4, 7 and 8. So 8 is the largest.

I will go for D. Because from 1 also, u can get the value of X. In the number, there is only digit greater than X. As 9 is the greatest, X should be 8.
And for stmt-2, Sankruth has already mentioned the reason ...
Correct me If I am wrong

From St 1, X could be 7 or 8. So INSUFF.
