A full bottle contains 40 % oil , 20 % vinegar and 40 % water. The contents of the bottle are transferred to a bigger bottle , four times the size of the original bottle. The remaining space in the larger bottle is filled with water. If there were 8 ml of oil in the original bottle, how much water is in the final mixture ?

1. 55 ml
2. 43 ml
3. 36 ml
4.68 ml
5. 50 ml

x - Total bottle contents.
40% of x = 8 ml oil. x = 20.
Oil - 8ml.
Water- 8ml.
Vinegar-4ml.
Four times size = 4*20 = 80ml (large bottle capacity)
water in small bottle = 8ml. 80 is filled with 20ml. 80-20 = 60ml is empty, which is filled with water.
Total water in large bottle = 60+8 = 68ml.
Option D.
