680(Q:48,V:35) - how to improve SC? I just dont get

Hi all,

Just took the gmat today,got 680... with a bad verbal score... I just cant seem to nail SC...I've used manhattan SC guide,but it didnt change much for me... does anyone here have any advice on how to improve SC? my CR and RC hit rates are about 85-95%...

SC is one of the hardest parts of the test, in my opinion. I don't think there is a magic serum for it. I think the best thing to do is to practice lots of SC questions, and understand what is wrong with each of the incorrect answer choices.

When you look at an SC question, see if you can identify the type of error contained in each answer choice. If you can't identify it quickly, don't pull your hair out. At that point, go with what "sounds right."
