The focus here is not EACH or EVERY.

Focus here is Singular/Plural form. Please remember "Each", "Every" and their derivatives are Singular.

Thus, here, should be followed by "It"

Pahwa is right. Since each and every are so interchangeable, the best way to look at the sentence is for the agreement of the pronoun. Getting that right immediately isolates two answers.
