x+y?

How is the answer of the below problem C? The lines do not appear parallel and added to that there is no info in the problem about this. IMO -E. Am I missing something?

Answer is C

The figure shows a quadrilateral.

Angles of Quadrilateral are 180-x, 180-y, 180-z, 180- w and the sum of all the interior angles of Quadrilateral is 360.

Which gives x+y = 360 - (w+z)

So both statements put together sufficient.
