Which Kaplan book to buy ?

by amitansu » Mon Mar 10, 2008 4:28 am
Hello ,

Out of the all Kaplan edition books available in market, which is the best book to try for prep ? (i.g. Kaplan 800/Kaplan Premier/Kaplan comprehensive/Individual quant or verv books)

Also what are the options for appearing online mock GMAT tests after pereping for all subjects ? Is there any DVD/CD s available in market so that i can buy them.

I am from Bangalore, India.

thanks,
Amit

Kaplan premier comes with CD containing 4 tests.
Kaplan 800 contains questions if you are tageting 700+ scores

Please see this review for the different books and how they stack up:

https://www.beatthegmat.com/books.html

For the most part the premier book is a general purpose intro book, the quant review book is for people who need to brush up on the fundamentals of math, and the kaplan 800 book is for people in the advanced stages of study who are aiming for 700+.

I didn't like Kaplan. Princeton Review and official materials worked for me.

Yes, the Kaplan 800 is the most difficult one.
