This problem was a little hard to search in the search engine as it contains a table. If some has a link to this solution please provide the link or solution

Thanks

Well, following is the necessary info drawn from the table:

x + 4 = 1 or x = -3

y + 4 = -5 or y = -9

z + 4 = m

x + e = 7 or e = 10

y + e = n or n = 1

z + e = 10 or z = 0, hence m = 4

m + n = [spoiler]4 + 1 = 5

here's how I went about it.. Noted all the equations possible:

4+x=1
4+y=1
4+z=m
e+x=7
e+y=n
e+z=10
f+x=2
f+y=-4
f+z=5

Isolated the eqns which have m or n -
4+z=m
e+y=n

Adding both -
4+z+e+y = m+n, our requirement.

one eqn from the above set states
e+z=10

So,
4+10+y = m+n

Isolating the eqn which has a single y,
4+y=-5
y = -9

Substituting,
4+10+(-9) = m+n = 5 Hence C.
