Hello All,
I just took the GMAT and here are my scores:
Q40 V32- 600, 62nd percentile
IR8, 93rd percentile
Has anyone else had the experience of a high IR score but a lackluster GMAT score? If so have you received any feedback from admissions offices? Have you considered retaking the GMAT?
Thank you!
High IR, reasonable to low GMAT

IR is not a game changer in the GMAT application. The quant, verbal and the GMAT score are the major criterion.
If you are satisfied with your GMAT score and think that you would be able to get into the school of your choice, then there is nothing to worry because your breakup score is also good.
An excellent IR score would only boost your chance a little to get into a B school.
You scored 8 on IR, but only 40 on quant, since both involve logic.
Did you figure out what went wrong on quant?
