What do B-Schools do when...?

by money9111 » Fri Jan 22, 2010 7:06 pm
Hello All,

I plan on taking the GMAT in the middle of April. I know that you can choose to have your scores sent to different schools to save on having them sent later. What do the schools do with those scores if you haven't applied yet and have no file with them? I have 3 schools in mind that I'll definitely apply to, but I'm wondering if I should get the other ones figured out by then. I know that by April one SHOULD know where they want to apply, but if that's the case then I need to get up and visit the schools sooner than later.

Thank you,
Richard

Hi Richard,

You don't worry about this, even a school does not has your admission file, it will surely keep your GMAT score at least for that particular year. And if you have already figure out 3 of the schools where you are surely applying, do let their admissions team know that you are going to appear for GMAT and want to apply for their school

Hope this Helps

Thanks a lot... I didn't even think about giving them a heads up. Definitely makes sense - I will do that!
