What Book Has Most Thurough Math Review

by virtuoso902 » Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:40 am
I am currently reading Princeton Review's "Cracking The GMAT". I heard that this book has a pretty weak Math Review. Do you guys have any suggestions on books that have a really thurough review on the math section. So far I own these:

The 3 OG books
PR Cracking The GMAT

From what Amazon says Barron's is better but EZ solutions is the best for math review.

Thanks ahead of time!

well, I have just started GMAT prep. I am currently studing Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook. This book is preety good if you want to freshen up your basics. It has a good combination of easy, medium and hard questions.

I'd also vote in favor of the Kaplan Math workbook. If your skills in maths are rusty then this book is a good resource to refresh your math!!!
But this is only for review. If you wanna practice then OG is the best book on the face of the planet!!!!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like i'll add kaplan's math workbook to my repetoire before I start cracking hardcore at the OG. Does anyone know anything about the Barron's book or EZ solutions?

Thanks guys!

Best books

To learn very basic content (If you're terrible or haven't done quant in a long while):
Princeton Review Math Smart (not gmat specific)

To learn GMAT math:
Manhattan GMAT Guides

To practice and apply GMAT math
GMAC's Official Guide (a must have)
GMATFix Official Guide Companion

Manhattan Review Turbocharge your GMAT Math book was extremely helpful.

The OG is a must-have, as others have pointed out.
