The Powerscore book runs to 305 pages. It is pretty good so if you have plenty of time you can check that one out. If you are working at a job or trying to improve in other subjects you may want to be a little more focused. Here is a link to another student who is asking for help because the "bible" was too long and confusing. https://www.beatthegmat.com/improving-t ... 25023.html
As soon as the newest edition is available for sale (we are already using them in classes) I will be able to recommend the new Veritas CR book for those who simply want to get the best score they can on the GMAT (rather than learning systems of formal logic).
In the meantime, you can check out the articles and postings that I have listed at the link above. In the postings I walk you through various types of CR problems.
Remember my themes - the GMAT CR is predictable, your focus can be on the essential part of each stimulus, and just by thinking logically you can learn to ace the CR with less work than most people think.
Good luck!
