Hello BTG,

I applied to a program for early ad. It has been 3 weeks now and I have not heard back from the school. What is the usual wait time from application to interview phone call?

Also, if you are not selected, how do they notify you and when?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Dear tdadic84,

It is not unusual to wait 6-8 weeks from the time you submit your application until you receive an invitation to interview. If you do not hear anything after 4 weeks, it would be reasonable to contact the admissions office to inquire if anything is missing from your application and confirm it was received. Most schools will post a "decision deadline" on their website for each application round. This deadline is the date by which all applicants in that round should hear a decision. Some schools will sent out decisions as they are made, but others wait to notify everyone on the same date. Hang in there and stay positive!

Good luck,
Lisa
