Hello,
I am a re-applicant from last year. I have reviewed my previous application and understood that my career goals do not seem convincing. I believe it was one of the key factors for rejection.
I am applying again this year. If I redefine my career goals totally, how would it impact my application? Schools will refer to my earlier application and if they see a completely different career path, would it hamper my chances?
Please share your opinion.
Regards,
Rahul.

Dear Rahul,
Schools will review last year's application against this year's, so it is important for you to make some changes. If your career goals have in fact changed, then that is ok. You just want to make sure you explain how you arrived at these new goals and what you need to do to make them happen in your essays.
Good luck,
Lisa
