Kaplan 800 !! SC !!

by discreet » Mon Jun 11, 2007 10:08 pm
I just had a glance at the first page of SC - Kaplan 800.
Just thought let me have a quick shot at it.....
Saw the first SC example that says..

None of my friends have been ......

Options include choices which have Plural and Singular form - Have,has...

Kaplan 800 says it should take a singular form "has" ????? why ???

Manhattan says - all SANAM pronouns(Some,Any,None,All,Most) should take a verb form based on the "of" construction. Here, friends is plural,so "have been" is correct?? or Am I going mad coz of excessive SC ???

On which page is the question in the Kaplan 800 book ?

To the blog moderator:

So do we follow the (Some, Any, None Most) exception or not ?

It's the very first question on the SC section. On th 07-08 edition, it's on page 135.
