A motorcycle travels at a speed of \(x\) kilometers per \(p\) hours. How many meters will it travel in \(s\) seconds, in terms of \(s, p\) and \(x\). (\(xps \neq 0; 1\) kilometer \(= 1000\) meters)?

A. \(\frac{xp}{s}\)
B. \(\frac{1000xp}{s}\)
C. \(\frac{sx}{3.6p}\)
D. \(\frac{60xp}{s}\)
E. \(xp3.6*10^s\)

Distance travelled \(= (1000\cdot x)\) metres
Time taken \(= s\) seconds \(= p\cdot 3600\) seconds
Therefore \(1\) sec = \frac{3600p}{s}\)

Speed in metres/sec \(= \frac{1000\cdot x}{\frac{3600p}{s}} = \frac{sx}{3.6p}\)

The speed of the motorcycle is x/p kmph. In meters per second, it will be:

1000x/(3600p) = 10x/(36p) = x/(3.6p)

Therefore, in s seconds, the motorcycle travels s * x/(3.6p) = sx/(3.6p) meters.
