48 manuals * (400 grams)/(1 manual) * (1 kilogram)/(1000 grams) = (48*400)/1000 = 192/10 = 19.2 kilograms.

Since the answer choices are VERY SPREAD APART, we can be quite aggressive with our ESTIMATION.

(400 grams)(50 manuals) = 20,000 grams = 20 KILOgrams
So, the answer is approximately 20

Answer: C
