We can form an equation based on the given information

Total \(= 9060\)
Down Payment \(= 2550\)
Monthly Installment \(= 155\)

Number of monthly payments?

$$\begin{align}
2550 + n(155) &= 9060 \\
155 n &= 6510 \\
n &= 42.
\end{align}$$

We can let n = the number of monthly payments and create the equation:

2550 + 155n = 9060

155n = 6510

n = 6510/155 = 42
