72% of the item in the box are cubes
Out of the 72% cubes, 54% are blue cubes.
Total cubes = Blue cube + Red cubes.
72% = 54% + Red cubes.
72% - 54% = red cubes
red cubes = 18%
Expressing the red cubes as a percentage of the total cubes;
100% = 72
x% = 18
$$x\%\ =\ \frac{\left(18\ \cdot\ 100\right)}{72}$$
x% = 25%
Option B is CORRECT.

We can assume there are 100 balls and cubes in the box. So 72 are cubes, and 54 are blue cubes, and therefore, 72 - 54 = 18 must be red cubes. So 18/72 = 1/4 = 25% of the cubes are red.

Answer: B
