Sold = 10000 - 100 = 9900
20% were sold at half price = 1/5 * 9900 = 1980 ==> ~2000
Remaining at full price = 9900 - 1980 = 7920 ==> ~8000
Total revene = ~8000*2 + ~2000 = Just Below 18000

0.2 x 9,900 = 1,980 tickets were sold for 1 dollar each, so these tickets generated 1,980 dollars in revenue.LulaBrazilia wrote:Tickets for all but 100 seats in a 10,000-seat stadium were sold. 9,900 - 1,980 = 7,920 were sold for 2 dollars each, so these tickets generated 15,840 dollars in revenue.
The total revenue earned was 1,980 + 15,840= 17,820 dollars.
