Two regular pentagons ABCDE and BCFGH have a side BC common. X is the mid point of AE, Y is the mid point of AE and Z is the mid point of GH.

1. If the sides EXA, CYB and GZH are extended, they will intersect at one point.
2. The point of intersection of these sides will be the center of the circle passing through points X, Y and Z.

A. Only 1 is correct.
B. Only 2 is correct.
C. 1 and 2 are both Correct.
D. Neither 1 nor 2 is correct.
E. Information not sufficient.

The OA is C.

Please, can any expert assist me with this PS question? I don't have it clear and I appreciate if any explain it for me. Thanks.

You didn't include what the question was actually asking and you said that "X is the midpoint of AE" and" "Y is the midpoint of AE."
