GMAT score 740 (Q51 V39)

by Gaurav Mittal » Tue Aug 23, 2016 12:33 am
Finally took my gmat and scored 740. I feel I could have done better at RC but personally it was an achievement since I was struggling to complete verbal section during practice.

During preparation, I came across many questions for comparison between Kaplan/ MGMAT test scores and GMAT scores. I myself searched for such comparisons numerous times. So for benefit of those people (tests mentioned in chronological order):

GMAT Prep - 1: 720
Kaplan Test - 1: 680
Kaplan Test - 2 710
Kaplan Test - 3: 720
MGMAT Test-1: 680
MGMAT Test-2: 720
MGMAT Test-3: 760
MGMAT Test-4: 720
GMAT Prep-2: 760
MGMAT Test-5: 740

I will be writing the story as well shortly to share my experiences, specially with Verbal roller coaster.

Cheers

Thanks for sharing this. A note to prospective test-takers: The average of Gaurav's last three practice tests comes out to 740 on the nose. Generally speaking, it's the average of your last few tests that will offer the best predictor of where you currently stand, rather than focusing too much on any particular outcome.
