Hi,

In my first attempt I scored 640 q45 v28 . In my second attempt scored 680 q50 v31 . In practice test 3 and 4 in gmat prep software I scored 690 and 710.
My target schools are Cambridge, Oxford , Hec Paris. Is it worth taking the gmat again and try and score above 700 or can I go ahead and apply with this score to these schools.

I have about 3.5 years of experience in big four consulting firm. Also I have about 1.5 years of international experience in UK and US.

Thanks,
Karthik

the answer depends on two factors:

a. when are you planning to apply, if this year, then delaying your application may become counter productive.

b. you improved your score by 40 points (great), can you realistically do that again with more prep? If so, great.

cheers, alex

I want to apply this year by March 8 th deadline for Cambridge. Do you think I can apply with this score itself or need to improve my score? The maximum I scored on the 4 GMAT prep tests was 730.

Cambridge's average GMAT is 690, so clearly plenty of people are admitted with a 680 or lower score. cheers, alex
