Very many - Usage Correct ?

by Umang_Mathur » Thu Jul 05, 2012 4:10 am
In my stamp collection, I've got a lot of Asian stamps, but I don't have very many African stamps. Do you have many African stamps in yours?

Is the usage of Very Many correct in this sentence ?

"Very many" is fine. Many is an adjective, and very is an adverb that can be used to modify an adjective.
