Hi Winner2013,

This CR question essentially asks us to weaken that the microwave dryer will be marketable; in other words, WHY won't the microwave do what it's supposed to do.

The Facts:
The new dryer will:
-Use less electricity
-Microwave the water on the clothes and not the clothes themselves.
-PROBLEM: microwaves heat metal objects, which may burn clothes
-SOLUTION: developers are working on a way to keep THIN metal objects from heating up (and burning clothes).

We need an answer that attacks the one obvious "weak spot" in the argument: metal objects could burn the clothes!

Answer E discusses how MANY clothes use THICK metal parts. Thick metal parts could cause a serious problem with the microwave dryer (and the answer states that many clothes have these parts, so this problem could lead to many clothing fires!). It would certainly be difficult to market a dryer that caught one's clothes on fire.
