Tips for improving reading speed

Are you a person with a particularly slow reading rate? If so, you may be handicapped on the GMAT because timing is crucial for success. Here is a set of guides for improving your reading speed. I've heard good responses from people who have used these guides.

just one quick question before I view the materials: is it the basement for improve the speed of reading by mastering more vocabulary?

Hi zhangjun111:

A basic understanding of English vocabulary is a MUST for the GMAT--if you feel like you are really lacking in this knowledge, then yes, perhaps vocabulary should be an area you should practice.

I'm also hit by slow reading speed,lack of comprehension and reading the passage over and over again.

I gave a section test for the 1st time yesterday having not done any english for the last 2-3 weeks and i got 24 out of 41.. I lost marks in SC and RC whereas i was doing well in SC.. RC is a big problem area for me i either get all of the q's right or all of em wrong.. If this guide helps i would thank like to touch ur feet lol.. Thanks for the help
