I am confused about this one:

If y>=0, what is the value of x?

1) |x-3| >= y
2) |x-3| <= -y

Answer is B .

The amswer should be B.

Clue from Question: Y is "0" or some "positive value".

A) |x-3| >= y
As |x-3| can never be negative, it can take any value from 0 onwards...and this condition satisfies for all the values of x. Hence insufficient.

B) |x-3| <= -y
Now, with this stating that |x-3| is less than or equal -y,
and (-y) can be "negative" or "0" (as from clue we have Y=0 or some +ve value)

Also, we know that |x-3| can never be negative, it comes that |x-3|=0 and that can be satisfied with only x=3. Hence sufficient..
