Given that Ferry A sails 3 hours at 7 kilometers per hour, the total distance ferry covers = 3*7 = 21 kilometers.

Thus, the length of ferry B = 3*21 = 63 km.

Also, given that ferry A is slower than ferry B by 2 kilometers per hour, speed of ferry B = 7 + 2 = 9 kmpl

Thus, time taken by ferry B = 63/9 = 7 hours

Thus, compared with ferry A ferry b takes 7 – 3 = 4 hours more

Correct answer: A

Hope this helps!
