The following is from Veritas Prep Sentence Correction, Third Edition, page 106
Incorrect: It rained yesterday, which forced me to cancel the event.
Correct: It rained yesterday, and as a result I was forced to cancel the event.
My question however is that will the following be correct?
It rained yesterday forcing me to cancel the event.
