You'll want to start by taking a practice test and getting a baseline score. (you can access GMAC's free GMATPrep tests here: https://www.mba.com/us/the-gmat-exam/pre ... tware.aspx

The plan you assemble will, in part, be dependent on how that first practice exam compares to your goal score.

Did you do much to prepare before you took that test?

If so, what have you done to train for the test, and what resources have you used?

Hi ablahusseini,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you're looking for, I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:

1) What is your goal score (is it 500 or is something else)?
2) How do you know you 'need' a 500?
3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
