Hello,
Even though I score in the 680 to 720 range on my practice tests (7 from Veritas and 5 from Kaplan) my quant score is always 50 or 51 while my verbal is much lower, barely shy of 40 at best.
I do well on RC and SC questions in my native language but when in English, I struggle on them.
I have revised many notes and solved many questions however I still make the same mistakes.
I was wondering if there is a better way to tackle these kinds of questions.

I am open to trying anything at this point.
My GMAT date is pretty soon therefore I am in dire need of advice.

Thank you.

GMAT verbal can be very difficult if English isn't your native language, so I commend you for putting the work in.

The good news is that there are recognizable patterns that the GMAT uses again and again, especially in SC. Here's some advice on how to be more 'mathematical' about verbal:

(this one is for our GRE video series, but the exact same advice applies to the GMAT): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2J0Kp1M ... ex=10&t=0s

Good luck!

Hi Karlinne,

Did you end up taking the GMAT? If so, how did things go?
